Psalm 11

Should I stay (with God) or should I go?
With Jesus in psalm 11 find faith to fix our eyes on the throne and not the threat so we might stand firm.
Questions:
Where are you tempted to retreat from following Jesus?
How can we encourage each other to have eyes of faith?

Hosea 11

Is there any Hope in Hosea? Any hope for us after treating God like we have? Hosea 11 says yes...
·Do you have hope? What’s your basis for hope?
·How is your heart before God? Would you like to love him more? Why not ask him to change you in that?
·Sin doesn’t have the last word, suffering will not win. How can you rest in this hope?

Hosea 2-3

After all Hosea and Homer have been through, can the relationship survive? God our relationship with God?
·If our heart is the primary problem not our actions. What do we need to repent of?
·Despite our mess how does God view us?
·What would it look like to wait faithfully for Jesus?
·For us as a church
·For you individually

Hosea 1:1-2:1

If God were to have a wife what would she be like? Listen to Hosea to find out.
·Idolatry is taking a good thing and making it a God thing, what might you be tempted to look to in God’s place?
oWhat can you not live without?
oWhen you get angry, what is being threatened?
oWhat do you find it easy to spend money on?
·How does God’s never giving up, always and forever love comfort you?

I Corinthians 15:35-58

Will investing in eternity be worth it?

·where are you labouring at the moment? How does this encourage you to keep going?
·Who could you pray for opportunities to speak of Jesus to?

1 Corinthians 15:20-34

Culture says you only live once, YOLO, so suck life dry of every pleasure, but this leads to a degrading life. Your resurrection changes everything

·V33 encourages us to remember followers of Jesus will rise. How can we remind ourselves and others of this regularly?
